I bought this Oct. 2019. I used it on the cut end of 3 large pieces of firewood. I used the tape from bottom to top, overlapping each piece. I cut the tape along the outside edge of the firewood in a near circle, approx. 1 inch in from the edge of the firewood. Along this edge, I used a small amount to wood glue to seal the ends of the tape. Placing the firewood one on top of another, I formed a snowman which I had my granddaughter decorate. It lasted through the entire winter . I removed the tape from the largest bottom piece. The top two pieces I turned around on the pile of wood which was hidden by shrubs. I looked at it on Oct. 24, 2020. The tape is still sticking to the firewood ( a year of weather later. We got lots of rain this year! ) The snowman still looks the same. This is amazing tape. ss Nov. 2021-- It is still holding fast in the weather---- 2 years later! Dec. 2022-- It is still holding fast in the weather---- 3 years later!
