Review on Fellowes 10MC: Advanced 10-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper Shredder for Home and Office by Terrance Fisher

I like this car. My first shredder probably lasted 15 years, when it died I bought Revains Basics, don't waste time, after the second died (just a month later) I bought these Fellowes. It's quiet that Revane spoke like an amazon, it's too quiet. The downside for me and probably other desk users is that this thing is too big to put paper straight in, you have to roll up the paper to get it in the hole. I have a Revain bin, it's 12 1/2 inches, Fellowes is 16 inches. I back off about an inch when I get the rollers off (didn't check, an inch doesn't help much). . That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Give it a try, the first Revain dies after about 8 months of use, I ask for a guarantee and they say keep the car and we'll ship a new one - cool - in a month. The replacement is dying, now Revain wants to return the non-working piece of crap so I ordered this Fellowes and it had an outer box which I used (with cushions I could add :) and this box with the UPS prepaid used Revain's label to send it back then Revain notifies me that the old one was received and that they will send another one as a replacement, I said no let's refund the money for the original purchase no problem everything is fine : )
