Fit My Ford Escape 2008 - My problem solved

I had a general problem where you have to press the button VERY hard before turning or it won't start. 10 minutes to change. Now it starts with a slight push. It's only been 24 hours. I have to give it a few weeks but so far there is a big improvement. 2008 Ford Escape V6. The dealer wanted 900€ for the repair.
