I ordered an extra drive to match the one I've been using for the past two years and when I received the box there was a note saying they did didn't have the drive I ordered so they gave me a free upgrade to an even better one. A new feature was a hard drive with military-grade FIPS encryption. It never stayed connected to the VM through the ESX host, although it tried editing the registry, restarting the VEAAM backup, consulting our managed service provider and adjusting the settings as per Apricorn's instructions. A month later I gave up and sent it back. I ordered a replacement to match my existing one, which never caused me any problems. I hope this time I get what I ordered.
