I love gel manicures. Regular nail polish never lasts long on my nails, no matter how careful I am. I'm not a fan of how long it takes me to finish a full set of gel nails. I kept seeing Facebook ads for Ohora nail strips and also checked out Revain. They didn't have many reviews but I bought them because mint turquoise is my favorite nail polish color (apart from black). To apply I followed the following steps: 1. Pushed back and trimmed cuticles.2. Nails filed to desired shape and length.3. Washed hands with dish soap to remove oils.4. Choose the nail strip that is closest in size. If there wasn't a perfect fit, I took the next smaller size. You can stretch them by gently pulling the sides.5. Glue the strips and press the edges from left to right.6. Trim the excess with nail clippers.7. Cure in 1 minute with UV/LED lamp8. Archives every roughness.9. I applied a gel top coat, closed the free edge and polymerized according to the instructions. Photo with the bottle immediately after application. I've found them to be much easier to apply than nail polish strips. I had no problems with wrinkles or folds. They healed well and were really durable. I have rough nails and they only came off when I took them off. They didn't chip at all and held up very well for 16 days. To remove, I dipped an orange stick in acetone and pressed under the strips to make them less damaging than traditional gel manicures. The only problem I noticed was that a bit of glue had migrated onto the new growth on my nails, so blurs kept getting stuck there. Although it wasn't a big problem. In general they are really good. I want to expand the color palette.
