Very important. Ease of installation. Works well.

This device does exactly what it was designed to do. This gave my 2005 Toyota Matrix an AUX port so I could connect a bluetooth adapter. Now I don't have to fiddle with my old FM radio adapter that kept hissing and asking me to find an empty channel on the FM disc. Installation was very easy. I had to plug into the back of my standard stereo and there was only one connector that would fit the jack on this product so I couldn't screw it up. By far the hardest part was the 20 minutes it took to disassemble the dashboard. I plugged it in and started the car, selected the CD port and there it is. The sound quality was much better than my FM Bluetooth device (to be clear, this device is not a Bluetooth device, but it did allow me to plug a Bluetooth adapter into the AUX port it created). I'll have to test this, but I think it picks up the faintly audible roar of the engine when the music isn't playing. I don't think this is a big problem as I'm not in the habit of turning on my stereo without hearing anything. It is excellent value for money and I would recommend it unreservedly.
