Review on ๐Ÿšด VASTFIRE Best Bike Lights: 8000 High Lumen MTB Headlight for Night Riding, 5 Modes, USB Type-C Charging by Michael Keitt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bright and I like the quick release mount.

If your light isn't on, you need to get it out of lockdown mode. Hold the switch for about 5 seconds until the "L" disappears. It's bright enough for the night rides I do. The beam is good at range and wide enough to be useful. I like the shape of the lamp and the aluminum body. Not only does the mount release quickly, but you can also flip it from side to side in a snap, so you don't get blinded by traffic. The instructions say it's 1600 lumens, when I tested it I got 1049 on turbo and 562 on high which is actually great. . When I drive I only use it at high or low frequencies. Turbo mode is basically "burst mode", it runs at full power for about 1 minute until the temperature sensor starts to reset the output to high-level mode. Large and mostly stable, it pulled away from me a bit, but it sat on my dyno with no airflow going through it. Probably the only downside for me is that the UI changes when I use strobe mode. . It's usually low, mid, high, circuit off, but after I use the flash it switches to low, mid, high, turbo and then back to low. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a different "mode group" or if it's a bug. Since I'll never be using a flash anyway, I guess that's fine with me.
