Review on 🚗 Vehicle OCD Upper Center Console Organizer for Dodge RAM 1500/2500/3500 (2009-2018) - Made in USA by Louis Alford

This is for the top of the center console, under the top cover. My car is a 2017 RAM 1500 Sport with a regular cab. This article comes in after you figure out how each piece fits into the console cover so you know which way each piece goes and then you can put it all together which is pretty easy. The part works, although it would be better if there was extra clearance in the area closest to the 12v car charger. I don't know if other years Ram 1500's have a 12v charging socket (cigarette lighter) in the same place, or they even have a 12v socket at the top of the center console, but mine is in the front. closest to the passenger side, and one of the parts of this splitter is just a few inches from that 12V outlet. Depending on which 12V plug you want to plug in there, it might not fit due to the splitter. Thing. I may need to remove the splitter to use the 12V outlet in that upper console bay. I could swap out the divider element using a Dremel tool to cut off a portion of the divider that could potentially block some uses of the 12v outlet. I'll probably do this after trying and figuring out a few 12v plugs , where and how much of one of the dividers do I need to cut off. Overall this is a very good item and if I wasn't using a 12v outlet I would give it 5 stars. But since I plan to use a 12v outlet on top of the center console I really need the splitter to have the best shape in that area. Therefore it gets 4 stars from me. BTW, I remember seeing Ram 1500 trucks (maybe 2014, 2015, or 2016) that had SD card slots, but for the 2017 model, Dodge removed the SD card slots in the top console bay, which indeed sucks. I ordered and received my truck in late 2016, so I had no way of knowing ahead of time that there would be no SD card slots. Since then I've had to add a USB device to plug into a USB output so I can use SD cards with lots of music on them. And sometimes it doesn't work. And depending on the size of the USB card reader, to use SD cards, you need to cut off parts of this separator or don't use it at all, because some USB card readers are too long or big to fit in it. divider present. If I were to order a truck again, I probably wouldn't buy a RAM truck just because the SD card slots were removed. Why did RAM do this?
