Review on 🍾 Le Creuset Champagne Crown Sealer: Black Nickel, 2.25-inch – Preserve Bubbles in Style! by Mario Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but I think this is the only champagne cork I will ever need.

I had never heard of a champagne cork until my cousin, who drinks a bottle about a week, mentioned it to me. Knowing nothing about them I bought this and the Westmark style with stripes https://www.amazon.com/Westmark-6012556C-Monopol-Champagne-Horizontally/dp/B000VZ8RGS/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 side by side They both feel like quality items. However, when used, they are not next to each other. I could get Le Creuset to keep a bottle with a few holes fresh for over a week. At Westmark 3 days ago I opened the bottle, put on the cap and only opened for a glass of champagne only to be disappointed. It appears to have withstood some pressure, but is no different than a rubber stopper on a wine bottle or a piece of duct tape. Le Creuset is fully functional, a bit high but keeps the bottles fresh for a long time and is very easy to use. Feels premium even though it comes in a stylish felt-lined box. When you buy one, go for the lever style. This expensive one seems worth it as I can't imagine I would need as many champagne corks as wine corks so I don't mind spending the extra money to make it work.
