We drink a lot of sparkling wine at home and have used it for many years with no problems. It keeps the bottle sealed for several days, even if there is only one glass left. I've given it as a gift before and I have more than one. Unless you're investing in a device that pumps gas into your cylinder, this is the best you can get. The only caveat is that some bottles have a slightly different neck and will not fit and obviously will not fit larger bottles (Jeroboams and up).
