Firstly, the device is not very durable. Very thin plastic, so don't put it near a heat source. He loses a star for that. Fortunately, the probe wires are long, allowing the device to be placed even at a distance. I cook, roast and smoke a lot, 6 separate probes was a nice bonus. I only used 3 out of 6 probes on this cook. Everything worked as it should. The app worked well, Bluetooth connected quickly to my iPhone, presets were good (however, I chose my own temperature for this cook), temperatures read accurately from my phone and the unit itself, and the set temperature alarms worked perfectly. All in all, I was pleased with the performance of this thermometer. The brisket was a hit. This probe thermometer has saved me a lot of unnecessary opening and closing of my smoker with an instant read thermometer. As a result, the meat stayed warm longer and cooked continuously.
