Replaced my standard plug with a 2007 Silverado.
it was very easy to install it is about 1/16 wide to fit the original hole so i used my box cutter and fed it into the hole a few times and just used the fork introduced which they give a pigtail for you, plus an extra set of plugs if you decide to just replace the standard socket and I did that because it made the installation even quicker. The installation took about 10 minutes in total. including panel replacement time. Best of all, I no longer have to worry about forgetting my car charger and my phone goes into fast charge mode when I plug it in.
