This unit works great and is fairly easy to install. It took me about 20 minutes to connect. Seems to be a good product. However, there were some glitches with panes. one). There should be a small metal stop to hold the two parts of the window in place. When opening, you must remove the plastic transport lock and insert the metal transport lock. There was no metal box in my box so I had to use a plastic mailer. 2). The screws for fastening to the window sill have no ends. I had to drill holes with a drill 3). There were 3 closed sections, one of which was cracked and broken. Finally, the installation guide is a bit difficult to understand. I had to read them a couple of times to get everything. But at the same time, the remote control works perfectly, the device works quietly and cools well. To use the heating mode, a transparent rubber hose must be connected to drain the water. It is HEAVY and requires 2 people to lift and move while in the box. Also, don't cut the plastic straps until you're ready to unbox it. The box is removed from the base exposing the unit. Follow the instructions on the top flap of the box to open it.
