Ok should work but not identical to OEM

It looks like it will work but is different from the regular OEM belt. I decided to purchase a heavy duty Gates belt as an upgrade in stock. I use it as a reserve. Another line of Continental belts, the ContiTech 6K x 2115, is the de facto common replacement for the 986 and 996 in the US. That's not the belt. It looks like Revain isn't currently wearing a "regular" belt in his heyday. But check out Gates' belt options, they're just as good.
