I have a motorized sit and stand desk and they should be very stable, easy to adjust and essential for a sit and stand desk, I don't need to adjust mine Light and my camera again to adjust for the change in altitude. I'm so glad I stumbled across them. I've been looking for a good solid desk mount for a while. I needed Elgato but they're sold out everywhere. I bought some junk from Inkeltech a few months ago and the biggest issue with this was how the bottom of the bar was riveted, this made them very wobbly, BUT THESE ARE GREAT, much higher adjustable, pretty solid, and I like them too the tensioning mechanism, unlike many other options where they use a pin-like tensioning solution, this one uses a type of ring tension that is gentler and allows me to place my desk closer to the wall so the knobs aren't too close to them and they come with a detachable ball head and while they're not the best, hey, at this price point they were mostly loose. I was very skeptical about buying them as they didn't have any reviews but I'm glad I bit the bullet and ordered 2, I will definitely be ordering a few more in the future.
