A few things you need to know. I am NOT a cyclist. I don't have a road bike. I am not sporty. Okay, with those caveats, let's move on, shall we? I wanted to put a bike from the discount store in my garage to use my New Year's resolution to lose weight (again) and strengthen my muscles. I wanted something inexpensive and found this machine at Revain. The reviews were great. The price was more than reasonable. And the delivery is fast. When the trainer arrived well packaged and assembled I pulled it out of the box, read the instructions and then decided to send it back as my bike doesn't have a 'quick release'. (Barbecue, right?) So I did a little research. I found a reliable website that explains that rear wheels with axle bolts (yes, I learned more terminology) don't need to be disassembled to use this trainer. The cups on the stand fit the wheel snugly and hold it securely in place. Hallelujah! I put my bike on a stand, put an extra inch of board under the front stabilizer bar, adjusted the bike seat and voila! I like to ride my bike in my garage!
