These trays make large ice cubes, are easy to remove from the tray and are fairly durable. After reading some of the reviews I cleaned the trays by boiling them first. One of the trays came out clean, but the other definitely left weird marks. I had a lot of floaters in my glass and water after using the ice. I had to boil the tray again in hot water and leave it there for about 5 minutes. I checked the ice again and this time there were no marks. Absolutely don't expect this tray to be cleaned with just dish soap, water and scrubbers - you should definitely boil it in water for 5-10 minutes before using it!
