Allows Digital Audio Coax TV to be connected to Optical Digital Soundbar

My Hitachi 3D 47" TV (surprisingly) doesn't have an optical digital output. Use an optical input (which I didn't have). an HDMI output. So I found that the soundbar worked with the TV's HDMI output. BUT every time I turned on the TV, the input automatically reset the soundbar to optical. Then I had to scroll to the HDMI input to get to Sound and I had to cycle the speaker to sync it to the TV. Not very convenient works to convert the digital audio of the coaxial signal (which is in my TV) to the preferred optical digital signal the howl of the soundbar. , I can turn on the TV and the soundbar and they automatically sync with each other since the soundbar is on the optical digital input (which I currently have). Does it make sense? Someone noted in their review that the sound and picture are out of sync when using this audio converter. Sometimes it may be true - I don't know. I have a Dish TV and sometimes I notice that the sound is a bit out of sync with the picture. This is also possible with televisions without an audio converter. It is channel dependent and inconsistent. I attribute this to a problem with the satellite signal. Sometimes I've seen the audio converter get a bit out of sync, but that can't really be the converter's fault. This remains an open issue. But if there is a problem with the synchronization, it's not a big problem.
