Thank you to everyone who has reviewed this product so far, it helped me select this remote control as the best choice for my Frigidaire window air conditioner. It also helped me deal with a few of his quirks. As a thank you, I'd like to include what I've learned playing with my remote in case it's helpful to others. I've just started using this, so this is based on a review, out of the box. If any defects are found over time, I will update my review. You can follow the explanation of this button by looking at the attached photo of this remote control. To program, press the Set button and wait until it turns solid red, then release. Then enter the corresponding code. For me the first Frigidaire code (1654) worked perfectly. He immediately switched the device on and off. I can adjust the temperature setting with the up and down arrow keys. I already knew the center fan button was the problem. You can bypass this by using the slow and high speed keys and the up and down arrow keys to adjust the fan. So a slow speed will decrease the air force (high to medium to low) and a high speed will bring it back (low to medium to high). Think of the "mode" button as a "cool" button. This takes you to the cool setting of the air conditioner. For a fan, press the fan button. For the fan, switch the speed with the "slow" and "fast" buttons as mentioned above. In ECON mode, press the "Economy" button. If you press the "Auto" button again, you will go to the lowest fan speed, press again and it will return to automatic mode. For the timer, press the timer button and then press the increase or decrease temperature/time button to change the time. Click Cancel to exit this mode. The sleep setting options are the sleep button. The directions are clear and understandable. There are several sequential options for how the remote works, and it would be nice if Anycommand changed direction a bit. But to be honest I'm thrilled to have a working remote control at this price! Under $10 is a steal and so far worth the price. Hope that was helpful!
