Review on 🔧 Enhance Precision with Whiteside Machine 9800 Brass Set Up Gauge Blocks by Michael Boyce

Like some of the other reviewers, I took some measurements on these blocks as soon as I received them. I measured the left and right ends of both faces. All had a deviation of less than 0.002 inches. 1/8", 3/16" and 1/3" were less than 0.0005" and 1/4" and 3/8" were about 0.0015". Reason for lowering the Sterns is that the box has the "Made in USA" lettering painted over it, and the sticker on the plastic case says "Brass Height Gauges" (not "growth scale"), which leads me to believe it's not These are actually genuine Whiteside products, they are counterfeits and it also appears they have reused the plastic case as the back has the router bits and recommended speeds listed.
