Expect to spend a lot of time setting this phone up for use. If you then get it to work, you'll repeat it every time the older user presses the wrong button. This isn't the kind of phone you'd want to gift to someone who thinks it's easy to use. The hardware is fine, but the instructions don't cover what's needed to set up and use the phone. The charging station seemed to work fine. My husband was so mad about this that he broke it in half and threw it in the trash so we wouldn't get a refund for the broken block.
