Review on π€ KNACRO MAX9814 Electret Microphone Amplifier Module with Auto Gain Control for Arduino by Christopher Gulledge
Underpowered for power converter
This product is a mono unit, but the designer introduced it with a stereo jack. With normal headphones the impedance of the IC was sixteen ohms which was a mismatch and the volume was too low for the hearing aid I was designing and I had to use a different amplifier. With 64 ohms connected in mono, the volume is acceptable for normal use. the impression that the device produces more power than other significantly cheaper modules with this chip.
