Review on ACDelco Silver 14795B Bonded Drum Brake Shoe Set: Superior Rear Performance with Lever by David Padilla

These shoes did not fit properly without modification. After installing on a 2008 Cobalt, the drums would not turn on. With the pads fully retracted and even the adjuster rod removed, the pads were about .030" larger than the drum. Instead of going back, I sanded down about 1/16 inch of the area that is next to the wheel cylinder. The drum could then clean the shoes. I reinstalled the regulator/rod and reassembled. I made the mistake of buying ACDelco drums and they aren't round! Now there is a vibration when you step on the brakes. I guess I have to work on new drums. I want to buy Wagner brake parts.
