This mailbox looked exactly like the picture when it arrived. I'm happy with the size, it fits easily in a magazine and is big enough to hold a few days' mail collection, yet it's not too big or bulky and takes up space in our entryway. It came without a lock and mail sign but they were very easy and quick to put on. It is also very easy to hang on the wall. With this mailbox you get what you pay for. It's solid and works as expected, but the mechanisms aren't of high quality. It opens and closes well but not as smooth as a high quality one, I could see it breaking or bending if you handle it too roughly. Security. This box is fixed to the wall with 3 screws, it would be very easy to rip it off the wall if someone really wanted what's inside. If you are buying this to protect against mail theft in a problem area I would suggest a better box with better mounting security. If you just want to prevent potential theft and want an extra layer of security, this is perfect. We live in a safe residential area but it's next to a park where squatters show up from time to time. It only serves as part of the mind to know if something has been stolen. keeps honest people honest.
