Looks good. Some design flaws.

Overall I'm happy with it. I like the look and the size. For the price, this is the best I can do in my opinion. Cons: The back of the lid rubs against the wall when opened. Over time, this wears down the paintwork and leads to rust. Stupid mistake. Also read the fine print. It's not supposed to be exposed to the rain, which is really stupid for a mailbox! I will definitely replace it in a year or two. Finally, it would be nice if they included mounting screws.

Nice but needs improvement

The mailbox is sturdy, well built and very aesthetically pleasing. Please note that the nickel plated "mail" part is the adhesive part and you will need to apply it to the mailbox, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how much of a perfectionist you are. I wish it was pre-stamped right in the mailbox to avoid bouts of OCD, whether the item is straight or not. The only downside is that there was no hardware to mount the item to the wall and we had to find screws to mount our new

Do not buy scrap

The box was opened and someone tried to put it in and broke it. The lid was broken and bent. Someone else sent this piece of junk back (no hinges so the top cover is very sticky. Your postman will never close the cover again). Someone from Revain turned around and put it in a box and mailed it to me. . Now I have to send it back. I don't understand these rave reviews at all. I would never have liked this mailbox even if it hadn't arrived broken. I have a 40 year old mailbox that looked dirtyโ€ฆ

MAIL CARRIER DO NOT LIKE USPS

1. Installation may be difficult for the elderly or those with large hands (like me). You must have a child with great dexterity with a screwdriver. Not having small hands to help with, I went to Lowes and got some hex bolts. With the help of a long Allen key I was able to attach the box to the wall of the house. 2. - Slot/lock cover. The slot is ideal for correspondence and large envelopes. However, it's not big enough for bulk emails/flyers, which seem to come with greater regularity. I often

One of the rivets fell out right after assembly.

There are a few things you should know: 1: The postal sign is very thin and feels cheap and you have to stick it on the mailbox yourself with the double-sided tape provided. . So if you're not good at centering things, good luck! 2: The back of the mailbox is not against the wall. There is a lip that goes all the way around the back of the mailbox. This means that the mounting screws (not included, by the way) have to stick out of the wall quite a bit when installing the mailbox. I mounted mine

Get what you pay for does the job but with low security.

This mailbox looked exactly like the picture when it arrived. I'm happy with the size, it fits easily in a magazine and is big enough to hold a few days' mail collection, yet it's not too big or bulky and takes up space in our entryway. It came without a lock and mail sign but they were very easy and quick to put on. It is also very easy to hang on the wall. With this mailbox you get what you pay for. It's solid and works as expected, but the mechanisms aren't of high quality. It opens andโ€ฆ

Second purchase

Bought one to be 3 moves behind, paid about $52 in stock and this one was good and powerful. I never thought I would need it again so I left it in this house. Then recently moved and after wandering around the property, I finally found 'my' new mailbox - a 6" x 1" x 10" box hanging askew on a nail on the homeowner's porch , exposed to the weather, lid won't close and no home. Number on it. This would never match the mail I receive let alone the veterinary magazines I receive monthly. So Iโ€ฆ
