I wanted to like this helmet. We were looking for a helmet that offers good protection for cycling and scooter riding. However, we did encounter issues when trying to fit it to our 6 year old daughter. First, when it was on her head, it flipped back, baring her entire forehead and leaving her exposed in the way a helmet shouldn't fit. We have confirmed in the guide that this should not be the case. This problem is due to the way the head/neck adapter is manufactured and attached. It extends down a very short distance, maybe 1 inch below the helmet level line where most helmets, including their old one which was made for a smaller head, go down 1.5 to 2 inches. It was also attached to the helmet with a plastic strap fastened in the center of the back of the head; This will prevent the adjustment strap from sitting on the back of the head for most children. Most helmets including the old one, mine and my husbands don't have a center strap for this reason. Together, these design decisions allowed the helmet to pivot unsteadily backwards. We ended up eating up the cost of the helmet because we didn't return it on time and just threw it away.
