At first I really liked this cutting board. It's huge with enough space to put my cookbook on one side while I cook on the other. I liked it very much! Three months later I am completely frustrated. The edge is peeling off. We take very good care of it. After each use, wash it, dry it and then apply a good coat of mineral oil to it. I do not recommend this. Even if you do your best to protect the wood, the cutting board will not be well made.
