Review on 12 Inch Air Horn Pump by Tropingzz Cece

After reading other reviews I was a little hesitant to buy it but at around $6 I decided it wasn't such a gamble. Yes, this item is made entirely of Chinese made plastic and probably won't stand up to abuse over time, but the reason I bought it was to use as a signaling device to warn family members through two stories that i need them The beep is very loud (around 100dB) and I wouldn't recommend giving it to a child or pointing it at a pet. You can get a longer burst by pumping with a hand pump (works like a bike pump) and there are no expensive air tanks to refill (another reason I liked this article). The sound it makes reminds me of a clown car horn, but I don't mind since I mostly use it instead of yelling at the top of my lungs for help. No I wouldn't use it as a safety device on a boat but it is very loud and perfect for parties and sporting events. This worked for my purpose of alerting family members on the next floor, but not two floors down.
