First: Did it work for me? Yes, he cut a hole that needed cutting. BUT! This business is dangerous. There is no set screw on the blade. If you use a cordless drill like I do and put the cutting tool in the drill, tighten and check that everything is set correctly, what happens is that the weight of the blade will cause it to keep turning after the drill has stopped. It will detach from the drill bit, hit the floor/table/surface you are working on, scrape it off and keep going until it hits something. This might sound like something out of an episode of Looney Toons, but it actually happened to me, and when you consider that this is essentially a spinning saw with sharp teeth, you should realize how dangerous that can be! The locking screw is the most important safety measure and this tool is not included and there is no place to install it. and for those who think I didn't tighten it enough or didn't look for the screw carefully enough. There wasn't one on the tool, no room for one, and after it happened the first time I had to try to find a way to tighten the blade at the tip. I was able to get it working for the hole that needed cutting, then threw the whole block in the bin. That spinning blade ruined my tabletop and my low pike carpeting, and we can't fix either of them. SIMPLY AVOID THIS PRODUCT TOGETHER! THIS IS DANGEROUS! Someone would have seriously injured their foot or lost a toe if they were in the wrong place when they broke loose.
