The colors are rich and vibrant. The photo is fairly accurate but does not represent it correctly. Blues - rich royal blue. There's a good amount of black and gray, balanced by pale yellow in some areas and golden yellow in others. I've been wearing it for about 8 months and being synthetic it doesn't pill at all. It sucks great and can handle a decent amount of foot traffic (and I have even lighter colors in a more walkable area). This is a thin rug and unless you are going to be putting furniture on it I highly recommend using a rug to keep it from moving. If you're looking for a plush, super soft rug this isn't it, but if you're looking for a rich, vibrant color palette to accentuate elements of your decor, this is the perfect accent rug!
