I love the power of this pump. As with most products, it could use some improvement.

First of all I have to say that I really like this pump. I connected my hoses to the pressure side and discharge side, routed the outlet hose to where I needed it to flow. When I tried to put a strainer on the outlet end of the hose I realized it was the male end and because you connect the hose so you have the male end on the hose. The strainer must have an internally threaded end so that it can be easily screwed onto the hose. It doesn't matter, you can find an adapter to use it. I just have to find one.
