Purchased 23 February 2015 Broken September 2015 Tried various salts - both McCormic brands and the brands here at Revain. It won't sharpen anymore and I don't know why. everything seems normal when I look at it. Until it broke, it was never dropped. always well cared for and kept in my office. No idea, but it doesn't squeak anymore. We bought it because it was supposed to be of excellent quality and NOT made in China. Very disappointed that it didn't live up to salt grinding expectations. I do not recommend. $30 for a salt shaker that lasted 6-7 months.
