I installed this light bar on my 2012 Tacoma. Based on the description and other reviews I was under the impression that it could easily be fitted with the existing license plate screws as I really didn't want to drill into the bumper. I installed the headlights and rod with license plate screws but they were very flimsy. I used the screws that came with it and unfortunately had to drill new holes, but the lightbar is still not firm and will move when going over bumps. I don't see this as a problem if you have a metal bumper, but if you're just mounting it on a plastic body you'll have trouble moving it. Use the large fender shims to stabilize it, but don't expect it to be a solid bar, it's just a lightweight mounting platform, nothing more.
