These slides worked well until I added the weight of the drawer after installation when they had a lot of play needed. They require a 16" setback from the front of the face frame, but in my case they don't fully seat after the drawer is installed so I have to move them back an additional 8". They have no spring tension adjustment and alignment is provided by installation adjustment only. Cheap Chinese soft metal screws won't work if your project is hardwood, saving you the headache of just using other hardware. I installed four sets of these guides per their recommendations and after a few hours of fiddling with alignment etc they work marginally well - one set out of four works well. To be honest I bought them because they were cheap (cheap) and they turned out to be just that. I would use them again for projects that don't come under the scrutiny of a discerning critic.
