At first it looked like the perfect solution for installing a brake light switch on a classic car. I was very careful when setting the switch as the ears looked thin. Assemble carefully using washers and small fasteners, being careful not to compress the loose looking rivets around the plastic tabs. When testing after installation, I found that the metal ground or plunger connects to 2 terminals when powering on/off. So remember that any wires connected to the terminals will be briefly connected to the body or plunger during the power on/off process. I saw a strong surge of electricity on the 'specific pedal', but everything is fine both when it's fully on and when it's fully off. Therefore, when I changed the circuit diagram, I had to remove the switch, which broke the plastic fastening tabs. It wouldn't stand up to the car's vibrations near the pedals. From now on I will switch to an all-metal housing.
