Review on Hakko Soldering Iron Stand FH-300 with 599B - Prime choice for premium performance and convenience by David Ruwala

This is a very good soldering stand. The base is quite heavy so it hardly moves on the table. One complaint is that for my particular setup, the stand could have used some sort of handle to allow it to be moved easily without touching the hot metal cage. The included 599B tip cleaner works great. Contrary to some reviewers, I found it larger and not smaller than I expected. It could fit closer to the base of the stand, but that's enough. I've used the wet-sponge method to clean my tips for years, but this is so much better: no more waiting for the iron to heat up again, and doesn't look like damaging the tips by removing the can . .
