The pic with five pictures may be enough for you. I filled the well about 2/3s and the gouache (spritzed and stirred) while not moving into other wells after vigorous shaking, squished into the sections where the silicone attaches to the plastic after taking the top off and putting it back on. Magnify this effect x16 and it could very well be disastrous. I emptied out the well a bit, to about half way. There was less mess so I'm assuming it would be better practice but the little amount of paint per well would defeat the purpose.I will have to try something else, but rlly like this concept but it doesn't work for plein aire (my intent).
