Review on John Boos Block WAL-B9S Square Walnut Wood Edge Grain Cutting Board With Feet, 9 Inches Square, 1.5 Inches Thick by Anden Turn

When I decided I deserved a nice Boos Block and came across the walnut version, I just had to have it regardless of the double cost. It would look so beautiful in my kitchen. After receiving my block it is indeed a beautiful block. The reason I’m only giving it a 3 star rating is they had to fill in a small area with wood putty. Now, I get that not every block is going to be perfect and this is an acceptable practice but what I’m perturbed about is the color of the putty they used seems appropriate for the maple blocks they sell, but stick out like a sore thumb on the walnut block. I would’ve loved to give this block 5 stars!
