Review on Total Blackout Window Film Resistant by Brenda Perry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It works well but lets light through around the edges and isn't easy to remove or put back on.

The product worked well. It's easy to install, but in my case I trimmed it to fit the glass exactly. It shrunk a bit after I installed it and now light leaks in around it. There isn't much light, but when you're sleeping during the day, a small amount of light can be enough to spoil you. I would recommend trimming it 1/8" or 1/4" more than you need. That might make it perfect, I don't know. I used masking tape around the edges to let in the most light. Another problem with this product is that once you take it off, it can be difficult to replace. In my case, I wanted it to be easy to take off and put back on. This product really doesn't meet those requirements. I finally bought another product that attaches with velcro and can be removed or reinserted within a minute. This product is fine if you want to semi-permanently darken a room but don't need to be completely black. It just didn't work for me.
