Doesn't work with different brands.
In addition to my house I have a separate garage and this little remote control works well if all your garage doors are the same brand. However, if you have mixed brands like Liftmaster and Craftsman or any other brand, this remote control cannot open or close your doors. I suspect he has trouble spotting differences. So if all the door openers are from the same brand, this remote control is a good buy.
