HIGH QUALITY 3 PIN GROUNDING TAPS

Converts a 3 pin socket to three 3 pin sockets. Available in three colors (white, gray or black) and in packs of 1, 3, 5 or 10 pieces. Slight price difference depending on the color: white has the lowest price; Gray has a slightly higher price; Black has the highest price. I chose the gray pack of 10. Each device meets the 15A and 1875W limits of US standard 110V circuits. Rugged design with no dangling pins or pins and tight-fitting sockets. Pretty bulky compared to most competing brands; 0.75 inches more top to bottom and 0.7 ounces heavier than the more compact but much more expensive brand I can find at my local hardware store. The excellent price for a pack of 10 quality faucets with three outlets and grounding plugs more than makes up for any limitations associated with the relatively large physical size. Made in China for Jasco; The GE brand is used by Jasco under license. Individual blocks are not quite in perfect shape. In orientation for plugging into a standard wall outlet, the device measures 2 inches top to bottom, 1.75 inches edge to edge, and extends 1.75 inches from the wall outlet to the front of the device. Individual units weigh 2.1 ounces. The 2-inch top-to-bottom size does not allow more than 1 device to be plugged directly into a standard 2-outlet grounded wall outlet at a time. But this 3-prong faucet doesn't prevent you from using a standard 3-prong corded plug in a leftover open socket, as long as you plug the faucet into a bottom socket. If a GE tap is plugged into the top socket, most standard three-socket plugs will still fit into the bottom socket, but three-prong plugs with a rounded (rather than flat) top will not fit. The bulky size of these blocks can come in handy when trying to connect multiple camera battery chargers, transformer blocks, or other bulky items. When plugged into a standard wall outlet, one of the side outlets has a rounded grounding socket pointing towards the wall, the other side outlet has a grounding socket facing away from the wall, and the middle socket has a grounding socket facing the wall to the left .
