I wouldn't recommend them for a car at all. The door guards have worn off the finish on the outside of the door where the guard's edge meets the paintwork, there is now permanent damage to the door which is clearly visible on the car as you approach the door. Also, after a few months of use, the adhesive began to break down, leaving residue that was very difficult to remove. I didn't realize the door was damaged until I disarmed myself to clean the debris from the door, as I was more concerned at the time that the glue would cause irreparable damage. I contacted the seller and they were friendly, but I didn't expect them to offer to cover repairs that would probably add up to a few thousand dollars of damage to the car. Be that as it may, they took great care to protect the edge of the door.
