Review on Samsung Galaxy S20 8/128 GB Smartphone, Dual: nano SIM eSIM, grey by va Balzs ᠌

The product is terrible, much below my expectations.

If you haven't had any issues with the warranties being repaired, this is a fantastic phone. As I continued to use the phone, I became aware that when the brightness was turned down and the refresh rate was set to 120 Hz, the display would render darker colors green. This is particularly noticeable on darker grays and grays overall. At first, I attributed the issue to AMOLED burn-in and intended to make peace with it; but, after deciding to study the issue, I discovered a post that discussed a problem that was quite similar to mine with the S20 Ultra: Naturally, I reverted the settings back to their original factory state, fiddled around with the resolution, and experimented with different frequency settings before realizing that the issue was only present at 120 Hz. I made the decision to get it serviced under the terms of the warranty, which, thankfully, is still in effect. The SC has confirmed the issue, taken possession of the device, and initiated communication with Samsung. When questioned about the issue, Samsung responded that it was not a fault but rather a DESIGN FEATURE of the display and refused to replace it under warranty. Because of this, I now have a wonderful phone that has a stunning display and a refresh rate of 120 Hz; yet, due to the design elements of this particular phone, I am unable to make frequent use of its display. Since I've been using Samsung products for such a long time, I've gone through the Galaxy S2, S4, S7, and S10e, and now I'm on the S20. Now that I have been exposed to such an attitude regarding a warranty gadget, I will give it a thousand and one thoughts before purchasing another Samsung phone or recommending that my friends invest in one of their products.

Pros
  • Display that is very stunning (for more on this, see the comment section) Excellent camera block Long-term support for software applications
Cons
  • Overcharge The camera has the ability to significantly warp colors. A terrible service for the warranty.
