These organic hemp wicks are thick, long and very waxy. They are completely natural, burn evenly for a long time. They are good quality and perfect for making candles. I've used them to make various soy candles and have had no problems with them. My final grave candles contain rose and pink Himalayan salt, rose petal powder, rosehip powder, essential oils and winter rose mica. The wick burned cleanly with no smoke or soot. I touched a candle and the wick just fell off leaving only a black stump. I hope this doesn't go on. Overall, these organic hemp wicks are great and easy to use.
