Review on 🚒 Fusion Entertainment MS-RA70N: Advanced Marine Entertainment System with Bluetooth and NMEA 2000 Compatibility by Adam Huper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

(old discontinued 4 Ohm devices) Sounds great. Significantly better than the old Sony head unit.

Works very well but make sure you have all the necessary parts when connecting the remote control. I connected mine to a Fusion MRX300 remote. Although the remote control is connected to the RA70N main unit, it is not receiving any power from it. If you don't have an NMEA network, you will need to create your own NMEA network to power the remote control. You will need a 2m Fusion NMEA 2000 power cable, part number CAB-000541. Gray and black for ground, red for 12V+. The network end connects to the T-connector supplied with the RA70N. That's all. But now you have no space to connect the remote control. You'll need another standard NMEA T-connector. I connected the RA70N's RCA outputs to a 45w Kenwood KAC-M1804 4-channel amplifier. (I don't want to use too much power from my boat battery) Driving 4) BOSE 151 outdoor speakers (old obsolete 4 ohm units) Sounds great. Much better than the old Sony main unit and Sony remote I replaced. It took 5 minutes to set up and pair with the iPhone. Bluetooth works perfectly. The Fusion app volume control on iPhone helped me order additional parts for two weeks to hook up a wired steering wheel remote.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
