This is a fairly simple game, gameplay time does not exceed 5 minutes. It has 16 cards, each with a unique alien. bones in the swamp. The cards have 3 dice representing 3 alien characteristics - the color and shape of the alien and the background. The first person to "snag" a card that matches these characteristics wins the round (e.g. a green 3-eyed alien with a spiral background). Everything is self-sufficient and therefore takes up very little storage space. The metal box below contains the cards. This is a simple game that is great for very young children as long as they are not competing with adults or older children. This can be a challenging game for kids of all ages. You may need to adjust the rules for younger children (e.g. 5-10 seconds head start). You need adequate lighting as pink and orange are very similar and the cards are very small. the fan of the collection part is made of sheet metal. It only bends and breaks with normal use. We bent it a bit just to try and get the top off the first time we used it. I'm afraid one day they won't get together anymore. It's good for traveling, but it's not the most exciting game, so it won't last long. Our kids love games, they play Monopoly Junior or Harry Potter for an hour without batting an eyelid. But after 3 rounds (less than 10 minutes) they had enough. However, it's enough for leaving your purse, killing time at the doctor's office, etc. One of the problems with traveling with this game is that you need enough space to spread out the cards, at least 1-2 feet. I'm not sure you could do this in a car. Another problem is what happens if you lose the card? We have made scans of the cards as a backup in case one of them ever gets lost. I feel like there are ways to make some games out of it or make the game more interesting, give it a twist. If you are a creative person, you can create some new options. For example, for older children or adults, you can turn the cards face down and play a memory game. For younger kids, you can create a smaller deck (e.g. remove all the two-eyed aliens) or group the alien cards by color to make it a little easier. Customization and various game options, how to expand the gameplay, do some self-made prints (like the playing field) to make it more interesting, etc. It's cute but not very exciting, and I'm worried about the durability of the storage box. 3.5 stars.
