Review on Maxi-Health Monohydrate Creatine: Boost Muscle Mass with L-Taurine πŸ’ͺ & Ribose Powder - Pre & Post Workout Nutrition Supplement by Molly Richards

Expensive Creatine on Creatine

I take creatine daily during my workouts and am quite happy with most supplements. In general, I expect any creatine supplement to taste neutral (flavor is probably asking too much) and deliver the results I expect. Let's see how Maxi-Health fares, shall we? First, I appreciate the calorie list. Everything you put into your body provides some kind of calories, and the fact that Maxi-Health contains calories shows that they take health seriously (as opposed to just putting a picture of a big guy on the cover) and promise MAXIMUM RESULTS. .But it gets more interesting when we get to the ingredients of creatine. These are MagnaPower Creatine, L-Taurine and BIOENERGY Ribose. Creatine MagnaPower is speculated to be an improvement over creatine monohydrate as it has greater bioavailability by binding to magnesium. The idea is that combining these two methods will give you the best results. And you may realize that not everyone is convinced the listing is real creatine, 45% of MagnaPower is creatine. So when you take this supplement, you're actually only getting 2250mg per serving. L-Taurine is used to increase performance and, by the way, supports mineral absorption (perhaps together with the already mentioned magnesium). BIOENERGY Ribose was developed to preserve and restore energy. In other words, L-Taurine and Ribose support the star that is MagnaPower Creatine, but you actually get less creatine. At $35 at the time of this review, I doubt it's worth it. ten dollars more than regular creatine monohydrate, which you can get for $25 or less. Until we get more data on how effective magnesium is at increasing creatine levels, I'm not sure the price hike is worth it. I didn't notice a significant performance boost to justify the difference.
