These are my favorite kitchen towels. Of course I have other kitchen towels - terry cloth, thicker flour sacks, smaller ones in more traditional sizes, nice, cute, plaid, seasonal. you have the idea You might even have a collection like mine. But this is my favorite because of CONVENIENCE. They absorb moisture well, are comfortable to handle and impress (in my opinion) with their iconic simplicity. Although I usually let my dishes air dry, they do the job better and faster than other kitchen towels. Yes, they dry instantly. I frequently wash or rinse my hands while preparing food and this is by far the most convenient for a quick dry. Thicker and/or stiffer ones stay wet much longer and are therefore less hygienic. And economical? You could pay a lot more for cotton pocket kitchen towels. But why should you?
