Purchased for a Subaru that uses an LN2 battery due to the engine stop/start function for traffic lights. Battery + clamp 10mm clamp nut is not detachable, so the traditional connection is not possible. Closely spaced possible connection points pass through electronics with unknown functions, so installing a charger that passes through unknown ones is risky. Also, I wanted the link end to attach to the grill so I could connect to the tender without opening the hood. The cable was WAY short to accomplish this, so too much trouble installing it on a 2020 Subaru. Associated with May Tacoma. The battery is very close to the front of the engine compartment, but again the cable isn't long enough to reach the grille opening. Now when I plug in the Battery Tender, the hood should be open; not what I had done before for a family member and not what I wanted.
