Good enough for windows, probably too weak when fully extended for a door. But it worked fine for my sliding window. For those who say it's too small, this is normal for a 13mm/5" tube. Some AC units are 5.9 inches tall. Just make sure which ones you need. The lack of instructions is frustrating, but that's understandable. Strangely there is no outlet and no outlet adapter as advertised. - this is all a whole, which on the one hand is wound on a hose, and on the other hand snaps into the window channel. . Works fine but they need to update the product description
